"Hi there! My name is Marie-Estelle Rochat. A few words about my professional background: After graduating from the University of Zurich with a Master’s degree in English Linguistics, I moved to the UK in 1994, where I worked as a student counsellor for several years. It had always been my dream to teach English to speakers of other languages, and in 2001, I was hired by an international school in Argentina. I stayed there for five years and thoroughly enjoyed my new career path. After two short stints in Mexico and Venezuela, I started teaching English to young learners in Taiwan and later in China. However, after spending over 15 years travelling and working abroad, I decided to return to my beautiful home country. I joined the TEFL Job Board team in the spring of 2016 and became the office supervisor in 2019. Together with my team, it is our mission to search for and find the best teaching opportunities worldwide."
